Fujifilm X100F Compact Digital Camera Announced

After what felt like an eternity of rumors, it looks like the Fujifilm X100F compact digital camera has been officially announced. It also turns out that the rumors were pretty much right on the money in terms of specs and features, but in case you missed out on those, not to worry as here are the official details.

Starting things off is with the design. It seems that Fujifilm has decided to stick with their winning formula and for the most part has kept the X100F largely similar to its predecessors. This is a good or bad thing depending on whether or not you loved the previous cameras. It will also be packing the same 23mm f/2.0 lens as before, which makes it roughly 35mm in full frame which is kind of makes it a good in between for portraits and street photography.

Under the hood, a 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor can be found, and Fujifilm has also boosted the X100F’s EVF framerate to that of a buttery smooth 60 fps. There will also be a digital teleconverter function that’s basically like a digital zoom in case 23mm is too wide for your liking.

Unfortunately if there is one thing that Fujifilm has not changed for the better, it would be the price where it is priced at $1,300, an increase from the X100T, and will be available for purchase come 16th of February, 2017.
