Every year without fail, Dell has new computers to show off at CES 2017. However it seems that someone at Dell might have gotten ahead of themselves because as spotted by Windows Central, someone seems to have posted onto Dell’s website an XPS 13 2-in-1 device, and given the lack of information it seems like it could have been an accident.
Apart from the photo, which you can see for yourself above, nothing else was revealed about the laptop. However it seems that if this leak is accurate, Dell could be giving its XPS 13 laptop a radical redesign by turning it into a hybrid. Prior to this, the XPS 13 laptop was just that, a laptop.
There was an option for users to configure it with a touchscreen display, but it was completely optional. However based on the title and the image, it seems that Dell could be taking a page out of HP’s book by turning the XPS 13 into a laptop/tablet hybrid, a pretty common setup that we are seeing these days.
Like we said we have no idea on what kind of specs the device will be packing, so we can only assume things like processor upgrades, RAM options, storage options, and GPU options will be part of it. Either way do check back with us at CES 2017 which kicks off later this week for the details.
