Just like HP with the new Sprout Pro G2, Dell is coming to CES with an innovative new computer dedicated to creating digital content more intuitively.
The Dell Canvas 27 features a huge 27-inch QHD horizontal touch display, where users interact with their drawings and designs.
The 27-inch QHD Adobe RGB display allows to sets of hands to interact with the work panel, thanks to its 20 points of touch and is built for durability with it anti-glare Corning Gorilla Glass.
"THIS IS BRILLIANT"The Canvas 27 is an LCD IPS display that measures 17.6 inches (height) by 31.2 inches (width) and weighs 18.5 pounds (8.4 kg) and is meant to work as a giant drawing tablet in combination with a vertical display. (see video demo)
The main innovation is the circular Dell device which works in combination with the Digital Pen and enables faster access to menus in the drawing application, without the need to go back and forth from your drawing to the app menus at the top or left of the screen. This is similar to what the Microsoft Studio computer has, and as a designer, I can tell you that this is brilliant!
For now, the new innovative circular Dell device has not been developed for Adobe applications yet, and Dell hopes developers will support it in the future.
