[CES 2017] Bang & Olufsen make some very pretty speakers that are part of its Beoplay lineup, and at CES 2017 this year, the company has taken the wraps off their latest offering in the form of the Beoplay M5. If you’re thinking that this is just another set of speakers from the company, think again as B&O have added a little something extra.
With the Beoplay M5, B&O have included support for Google’s Chromecast technology. What this means is that these speakers will be able to stream from all kinds of music streaming services and connect to multiple devices in your home, so if you want to use it in the kitchen and answer a call at the same time, it will not be an issue.
The speakers will also come with True360 degree omnidirectional sound and will be equipped with a 5-inch neodymium long stroke woofer. Given that these are speakers from B&O, naturally they will look good as well and the Beoplay M5 will sport a wool-blend fabric wrapped around the speaker, with a matte aluminum top, which can be rotated to adjust the volume, or pressing down on it will turn pause/play the music.
As expected the Beoplay M5 does not come cheap and it is priced at $600. It is already available for purchase so head on over to B&O’s website for the details.
