That being said despite these complaints, Apple is expected to ship more units than ever this year. This is according to China’s Economic Daily News in which it was predicted that Apple could end up shipping 15 million MacBooks in 2017. This is supposed to represent a 10% increase from last year (suggesting a higher demand), which apparently will be achieved by 2017’s MacBook Pro refresh which is said to offer up 32GB of RAM and is also apparently cheaper.
Whether or not that is true remains to be seen, but combine that with the rumors of Intel’s Kaby Lake processor, it could finally be the laptop that MacBook Pro users have been asking for. That being said let’s not forget that Apple is also expected to refresh its 12-inch Retina MacBook which was last refreshed in April 2016, which means that we’ll probably be seeing another refresh in the coming months, although right now we’re not sure what we might be able to expect from it.
