There have been a lot of rumors and reports recently about the 2017 series of the Galaxy A lineup. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A (2017) series in the very near future. Press renders of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) have been leaked online, the leak is accompanied by some specifications of this mid-range handset.
It was reported last month that the Galaxy A5 (2017) is going to be available in gold, pink, blue, and black colors. The press renders leaked today confirm that the Galaxy A5 (2017) will indeed be offered with these four color options.
The leak also reveals that the Galaxy A5 (2017) features a 5.2 inch full HD display with a Samsung Exynos 7880 octacore 1.8 GHz processor under the hood that’s coupled with 3GB of RAM and a Mali-T860 MP4 graphics processor. The handset is also said to have 32GB of onboard storage.
According to the leak, Samsung’s upcoming mid-range smartphone features a 16 megapixel camera on both the front and back as well as a 3,000mAh battery. Even though it’s going to be released many months after Google released Android 7.0 Nougat, the entire Galaxy A (2017) series is expected to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
No word as yet on the pricing and availability of this handset. Samsung is yet to confirm the new series but it’s expected to do that in the very near future.
