Rockstar started teasing a new game several months ago and it officially confirmed back in October that Red Dead Redemption 2 is in the pipeline and will be released at some point in the future. The developer hasn’t provided any major details about the game itself just yet but if a new rumor is to be believed, Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to feature three playable characters.
The rumor suggests that Red Dead Redemption 2 is not going to be too different from its predecessor which features a massive single player campaign and an open world.
However, it’s claimed that there’s going to be one major difference between the new game and its predecessor. Red Dead Redemption 2 is rumored to feature three playable characters, much like the three playable characters you get in Grand Theft Auto 5. The three playable characters are said to be from John Marston’s former gang while John himself won’t be a playable character.
It’s also said that the online mode for Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be launched sometime after the game is released next year. It would be a strategy similar to what Rockstar used for Grand Theft Auto Online which was released some time after GTA 5.
None of this has been officially confirmed by Rockstar so take it with a grain of salt. Rockstar is likely going to provide more information about Red Dead Redemption 2 in the new year.
