Back in October, a sneak peek for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was released, and in case you were hankering for more footage, you’ll be pleased to learn that a new teaser trailer for movie has since been released, giving us more of a look at the movie and what we can expect.
There is a scene in which Drax jumps at a huge alien that is reminiscent of a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean where Jack Sparrow leaps into the mouth of the Kraken. It also gives us a better look at Baby Groot, who we have to say looks pretty damn adorable, especially with that squeaky “I am Groot” voice. The movie will see the return of Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), and Baby Groot (Vin Diesel).
Apart from the usual faces, we can also look forward to seeing Kurt Russell play the role of Ego (who is a planet in the comics), Star-Lord’s father. The movie will be once again directed by James Gunn. So far all the teaser trailers we’ve seen certainly make the movie look pretty good, and if it is anything like the first Guardians of the Galaxy, we’re definitely in for a treat. The movie is set for a release on the 5th of May, 2017.
