It’s becoming a chore to try and find the NES Classic Edition in stock ahead of the holidays. Nintendo’s latest mini-console is one of the most sought-after items this holiday season, the company has already sold more than 200,000 units in the United States and the demand still exists. If you’ve been meaning to buy one and happen to be in New York City, head over to the Nintendo Store in NYC for a chance to buy it.
Nintendo confirmed today that its store in New York City is going to have the NES Classic Edition available in limited quantities. It’s going to start selling the mini-console at 2 PM ET.
The company expects a lot of people to line up for the NES Classic Edition so prospective buyers will really be doing themselves a favor if they show up at the store bright and early. The company is going to hand out wristbands to buy the mini-console at 1 PM ET. It’s only going to allow customers to buy one unit per person.
Nintendo last had the NES Classic Edition in stock at the store on December 21st and the units quickly sold out. It’s likely that this will be the case today as well so don’t waste any time if you’re in NYC and want to buy one.
The Nintendo NYC Store is located at 10 Rockefeller Plaza, 48th Street, New York City.
