Starting with the Mophie battery pack, this battery pack is bigger than the battery packs we’ve seen from the other Moto Mods and will be of the 3,000mAh variety. Given that it is a Mophie design, it will come with a series of LED lights on the back of it to indicate how much battery is remaining in the battery pack itself. It also features a USB-C port meaning that it can be charged separately from the phone.
Next up is the Incipio car dock that basically provides users a way to mount their Moto Z in their car to charge its battery, or connect it to the car’s audio system via a 3.5mm output. It clips into the car’s air-conditioning vent and users can choose to mount their phones vertically or horizontally, the latter in which would make it ideal for Android Auto usage.
In terms of pricing, the Mophie battery pack is priced at $80 and the Incipio car dock will retail for $65. Both devices are expected to begin shipping in the near future, with Motorola claiming that we can look forward to more mods in 2017.
