Just the other day, Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite was announced. This is the latest installment in the franchise and safe to say that the graphics have indeed come a very long way, from the original game which looked pretty cartoony, to today’s graphics which has a slightly more “realistic” look to it.
In the initial reveal, we were treated to just four heroes: Ryu from Street Fighter, Mega Man, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man. However in the extended gameplay trailer, we get a glimpse at two more heroes in the form of Captain America and Morrigan. The latter two appeared as “assists” but presumably they will also be playable in the game since they were available in the previous titles.
Interestingly enough there are no appearances from the X-Men side, which has led to some speculating that maybe the X-Men might not be featured in the game. The extended trailer gives us a better look at some of the game’s mechanics, some of the character’s moves, and there is also hints that the Infinity Stones will somehow play a role in the game.
The game is set for a release in late 2017, and contrary to the rumors, it will not be a PS4 exclusive and will actually be launched on the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC simultaneously, so gamers will want to keep an eye out for its release.
