If you’ve been resisting the urge to make in-app purchases in Pokemon GO, it seems that Niantic wants to tempt you by making a surprise announcement in which they will be adding limited-time holiday item packs to the Pokemon GO in-game shop. These holiday item packs will be discounted and only available from the 25th of December until the 30th of December.
The announcement reads, “This has been an exciting year for Pokémon GO! As we look ahead to 2017, we have one more surprise for you! We will be adding a few limited-time holiday item packs to the Pokémon GO in-game shop at a discounted rate. The morning of December 25 through the afternoon of December 30 (PST), we’ll be releasing Special, Great, and Ultra Boxes. Items in these Boxes include Incubators, Incense, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls.” However once that offer ends, there will be another sale which will last from the 30th of December, 2016 until the 3rd of January, 2017.
According to the folks at Niantic, “From the afternoon of December 30 through the afternoon of January 3 (PST) we’ll release Bronze, Silver, and Gold Boxes. Items in these Boxes include Incense, Lure Modules, Lucky Eggs, Poké Balls, and Great Balls.” As the announcement states, these will run for a limited period of time so if you’d like to take advantage of it and save yourself some money, then these holiday item packs could be worth keeping an eye out for.
