Speakers are a dime a dozen and while sound quality is obviously the most important when it comes to choosing speakers, there are other things to take into consideration. For example design is also an important factor to consider because if you’re looking to match your home’s interior, then clearly design plays an important role as well.
That being said, it seems that LG has a pretty funky set of speakers for you which they have announced ahead of CES 2017. As you can see in the photo above, these are a set of levitating speakers which will no doubt act as a great conversation piece for whoever enters your house/room.
LG is not the first company to create such speakers, but we guess if you’ve trusted and liked LG’s offerings so far, this could be worth your consideration. According to LG, the speakers will have a 10 hour battery life and the speakers will actually start to float back down to its base as the battery starts to run out, so there won’t be any rude interruptions.
It will also feature an embedded subwoofer and Dual Passive Radiator technology. The speaker portion itself will also be IP67 certified, and with multipoint technology it will allow it to pair with up to two devices at once. There is no word on pricing or availability but LG is expected to show it off at CES 2017 which kicks off next Friday, so do check back with us then where hopefully we’ll have more details to share.
