There are all sorts of rumors floating around about the iPhone lineup that Apple is going to offer next year and the latest suggests that the iPhone 7s release is going to take place next year. It’s claimed that the iPhone 7s is going to feature a 5 inch display and that it’s going to share internal components with the “s” variants of the 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch iPhones that Apple releases next year.
The rumor claims that the iPhone 7s is going to have a 5 inch display and that its specifications will be similar to the 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch iPhones that the company comes out with next year.
It’s also claimed that the 5 inch iPhone 7s is going to feature a dual-lens camera array with iSight modules arranged vertically instead of horizontally like they are on the iPhone 6s Plus. It’s unclear whether this will extend to the iPhone 7s Plus that’s also due in 2017.
It merits mentioning here that nothing is set in stone right now as far as the 2017 iPhone is concerned. Apple’s suppliers are expected to receive finalized specifications at some point in the first quarter of next year so until that happens we’re bound to hear conflicting rumors about the next flagship smartphone.
Apple’s next-generation iPhones aren’t expected before the fall next year so there’s quite a long way to go before they become due.
