Did you find a post on Instagram that you’d like to bookmark and come back to later? This wasn’t possible before but all that changes today. Instagram today announced that it’s now allowing users to bookmark posts. Starting today, users will see a new bookmark icon underneath the posts in their feed. They just need to tap on that icon to save the post to a new tab on their profile that’s private. Nobody will be able to see the posts they have bookmarked.
Instagram is finally giving its users the ability to bookmark posts. It should have added this feature to the platform a long time ago but at least it’s making amends now.
The bookmark feature is very easy to use. All users need to do is tap on the new bookmark icon in order to save the post to a new, private tab on their profile. All of the bookmarked posts will be visible there and they will only be visible to the user. No one else will have access to their bookmarks.
The bookmark feature is part of Instagram version 10.2 that’s available today for iOS and Android from the App Store and the Google Play Store respectively. Instagram version 10.2 has also been released for Windows 10 in the Windows Store today.
