Huawei, one of the fastest-growing smartphone vendors on the planet, today announced the launch of a new handset called Huawei Enjoy 6s. This device follows the Enjoy 6 which was released by the company in October this year. It’s only slightly improved than its predecessor but Huawei will certainly wish that people buy it anyway.
Huawei launched the Enjoy 6s in partnership with China Mobile today. It features a 5 inch 720p display, is powered by a Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
While its predecessor offered 16GB of onboard storage, it doubles that to 32GB. The handset also features a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5 megapixel camera up front for selfies.
Even though this is supposed to be slightly better than the Enjoy 6, the Huawei Enjoy 6s actually has a smaller battery, a 3,020mAh instead of the 4,100mAh battery found on the Enjoy 6. However, the new device is thinner than its predecessor. Huawei Enjoy 6s also features a fingerprint scanner on the back and has dual-SIM support.
Huawei hasn’t confirmed when the Enjoy 6s is going to be available for purchase in China but it’s going to be out soon. The handset will be available in white, gold, and silver colors for CNY 1,599 or just over $230.
