HMD Unveils The Nokia 150 Phone

It has been confirmed that Nokia will be returning to the mobile scene and it looks like they have, sort of, as HMD Global has officially announced the Nokia 150 (via PhoneArena). However judging from its specs and look, there is a good chance that the Nokia 150 is not the triumphant return to the mobile scene that many were hoping for.

As you can see in the image to the right, the Nokia 150 feels more like a feature phone and that’s because it is. The handset comes with a 2.4-inch display, physical keys, Bluetooth, FM radio, an MP3 player, and a microSD slot. According to HMD, it has been built to last meaning that just like the Nokia phones from the good old days, it should be able to withstand the daily rigors that comes with its usage.

It features a battery that HMD is boasting will offer up talk time of 22 hours, and a standby time of 31 days. There will be two versions: a regular single-SIM version, and a dual-SIM version. The only difference is the space for an extra SIM, and the battery life in which the dual-SIM version is said to last 25 days on standby.

As for pricing, the Nokia 150 comes pretty cheap at around $26. Like we said, it’s not the phone that Nokia phone that fans have been hoping for. Those devices are said to be launched in 2017 at MWC, so check back with us then if you’re looking for Nokia smartphone-related news.
