The Fujifilm X100F is an upcoming camera that we have been hearing about. Fujifilm themselves have yet to confirm it but thanks to Fuji Rumors, it’s getting a bit hard to ignore the “evidence” of the camera’s existence as they have recently published a couple of alleged photos of the camera.
As you can see in the photo above, the X100F doesn’t look too different from its predecessor, the X100T. There have been some components, like the buttons, that have been moved around, but other than that the rest of the design is similar to the X100T and the cameras before that. Not that it is a bad thing but in case you were hoping for a redesign, you could be disappointed.
As far as its rumored specs are concerned, we have heard that the camera will sport the 24MP X-Trans CMOS II sensor that is found in the X-Pro2 and X-T2 cameras that were launched earlier this year. Considering the image quality and feedback we’ve been hearing about those two cameras, X100F users should be pleased.
The camera is also said to be maintaining the same 23mm f/2.0 lens in the previous X100T, which is a good choice as it strikes a happy middle for all kinds of photography (save maybe for zoom or macro). No word on when it will be announced, but last we heard the 19th of January is a possibility.
