The Fujifilm X100F is a camera that we have been hearing a lot about recently. It is the successor to the X100T, a compact camera that seems to have won the hearts of many a photographer, so safe to say that the anticipation regarding its release is pretty high. So the question is, when will this announcement take place?
Last month we heard that an announcement in February is likely and given that CP+ takes place in February, it makes sense. However according to the folks at Fuji Rumors, they have heard that the camera will instead most likely be announced on the 19th of January. This is according to information given to them by their “trusted source”.
Obviously this nugget of information should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but given that Fujifilm has yet to say or confirm anything, either of these rumors could be wrong, or both of them could be wrong. Now it is possible that the X100F could be shown off and demoed at CP+, but the announcement could take place earlier, like in January, so those are some alternative theories.
In any case be sure to check back with us in the coming weeks and months if you’d like to learn more about the X100F and its upcoming launch dates.
