Fans of the original Blade Runner movie have been very excited about the sequel that has been in the pipeline for a very long time. Today they get their first glimpse of the upcoming movie as the official Blade Runner 2049 trailer has been released. The trailer shows that the sci-fi movie is going to feel quite similar in its tone to the original movie, a showdown between Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford is certainly something to get excited about.
Blade Runner 2049 stars Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Jared Leto, Robin Wright, and more. The sequel is going to pick up the story 30 years after the events of the original movie where the blade runner character sets off on a mission to track Rick Deckard in a bid to find some lost secrets. Gosling plays Blade Runner while Ford plays Deckard.
The first Blade Runner 2049 official trailer doesn’t really give much away about the actual plot of the movie. The original raised a few questions that fans might still remember, the trailer doesn’t really show how the sequel is going to address those questions, after all, the intention is to get people to pay for a ticket to watch this movie.
Fans will have to wait for a considerable time, though, as Blade Runner 2049 is due for release on October 6th, 2017.
