So a couple of days ago, T-Mobile started to push out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the LG G5. For those of you guys who bought the LG G5 from other carriers, such as Verizon, the good news is that you didn’t have to wait too long because according to reports, it seems that the Android 7.0 update is finding its way to Verizon LG G5 handsets as well.
In a post on their website, Verizon has detailed some of the changes that users can look forward to with the Android 7.0 update finding its way onto the phone. This includes all kinds of new features such as themes, multi-window functionality, improved notification pulldown shades, cleaning settings menu, and more.
This will also no doubt give the LG G5 a new lease on life, not that it really needed it but considering it was launched earlier this year and with so many newer phones in the market today, the Nougat update should indeed be a much-welcomed one. If you don’t see the update available for you yet, not to worry as we’re sure it will find its way to you.
Also if you did get notified about the update, you’ll want to ensure that you’re connected to a power source and also WiFi so that you won’t blow through your data allowance, and also to make sure that there is enough battery to complete the update.
