While Apple’s iPad might still be one of the top-selling tablets in the market today, Verizon has been quietly pushing out its own series of Ellipsis tablets. Whether or not the tablet is doing well is unclear, but we’re guessing that it must be doing OK for Verizon to keep continuing the trend over the past few years.
That being said, it looks like Verizon has a new Ellipsis tablet in the works. According to famed leakster Evan Blass, he recently tweeted out renderings of what appears to be the upcoming Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD tablet. Apparently it will come in two color options: midnight blue and arctic grey.
Unfortunately in terms of specs we are really clueless as to what kind of hardware might be under its hood. We can only assume that the “8” in its name implies its screen size, and the “HD” might also imply its resolution, which we guess will either be 720p for those who want to be super particular, or it could also imply 1080p.
We also can assume that it will feature LTE connectivity given that it is a Verizon tablet, but other than that it’s really anyone’s guess. That being said, Verizon’s Ellipsis tablets have never been particularly high-end anyway so don’t expect too much. However they have proven to be affordable so we guess there’s that.
