However it seems that the praises don’t stop there. According to a recent interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, Ubisoft’s EMEA boss Alain Corre said that the Switch had the potential to expand the possibilities of fun. Corre was quoted as saying, “The hardware really helps expand the possibilities of fun, people of all ages will be able to play games anywhere. We hope to have a wide variety of software available, but we’re unable to go into details just yet. Sorry (laughs).”
At the moment it is really anyone’s guess as to what the Nintendo Switch will be bringing to the table. For some reason Nintendo has decided to be very cagey with the information available about the console. The company chose to reveal what the console would look like, but details like hardware, pricing, and available titles weren’t shared, or at least are reserved for 2017.
While we can’t speak as to how the Switch handles or plays, we have to say that we are pretty excited for it. It definitely does not look like the consoles we’ve been seeing from Microsoft and Sony, and the idea of it being portable is also pretty appealing, but either way do check back with us on the 12th of January for more details.
