For those who bought and are still playing Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six: Siege from 2015 and are wondering about the future of the game, you’ll be pleased to learn that Ubisoft has recently confirmed that the game will be getting another year’s worth of content. We’re not sure exactly what this means, but if you were after more content for the game, you won’t be disappointed for at least 1 more year.
In a post on Twitter, “The past year has been an incredible journey, and we are excited to have you join us for another full year of content!” So far Ubisoft has done an impressive job of releasing three full expansions: Operation Black Ice, Operation Skull Rain, and Operation Dust Line. The fourth, Operation Red Crow is scheduled to be released next month.
Ubisoft did not specify if this means that in 2017 we can also look forward to four full expansions or if they’ll be dialing it back a bit, but either way it’s probably still good news for those who play the game.
