The OnePlus 3T is a phone that we have been hearing about for a while now. OnePlus themselves have been pretty mum on the subject but it seems that Qualcomm might have let the cat (or dragon?) out of the bag, thanks to a recent post on Twitter in which they seemed to have teased the handset’s launch.
According to the post, “Something new from @OnePlus is on the way…and it’s powered by our #Snapdragon 821 processor. Stay tuned.” So how do we know that this is the OnePlus 3T? According to the rumors, the OnePlus 3T is essentially a refreshed version of the OnePlus 3 with a newer processor in the form of the Snapdragon 821.
It is also reportedly the reason why the phone is said to be priced higher than the OnePlus 3 because apparently the Snapdragon 821 is more expensive than the 820. Other rumored specs include 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 16MP rear-facing camera with Sony’s IMX398 sensor, and a 3,300mAh battery.
We have also heard that it could be launching on the 14th of November which is next Monday. Whether or not that is true remains to be seen, but with Qualcomm’s tweet, we guess we can expect a new OnePlus handset in the near future.
