Earlier today Bethesda released a patch for Fallout 4 for the PS4 that basically brought about support for mods. This is great news for gamers, but if you own a PS4 Pro and you’re wondering when the game will get around to supporting the console, not to worry as Bethesda has not forgotten about you guys.
In a tweet by the Bethesda Twitter account, the company announced, “PS4 Players can expect #PS4Pro support in our next title update for #Fallout4”. We’re not sure when exactly the next update will be released, but we guess if you do see the update then know that it will come with PS4 Pro support, that is unless of course something delays it, which we hope it doesn’t.
As to what exactly we can expect in the PS4 Pro version of Fallout 4 remains to be seen, but the company did previously say that, “We expect Fallout 4 to take advantage of the PS4 Pro in 4k along with enhanced lighting and graphics features.” Basically given the PS4 Pro’s better and more powerful hardware, we expect that the game will look better, although Fallout 4 does look pretty good to begin with, so if anything this will be a bonus.
In any case we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information regarding the release of the next PS4 update for Fallout 4, so remember to check back with us in the coming weeks/months for the details.
