Sony has gradually been expanding its PlayStation Vue online TV streaming service to more platforms and it has now launched the service for Apple set-top box. The PlayStation Vue online TV streaming service is now available on the Apple TV. The company says that the Apple TV was one of the most highly requested devices by its fans so it’s pleased to respond to their wishes by launching the service on Apple’s set-top box.
Apple TV owners need to keep in mind that the Vue only supports the fourth generation set-top box. It supports latest Apple TV features like Siri integration and easy navigation via touch made possible by the Apple TV’s Siri Remote.
PlayStation Vue elevates the live TV streaming experience for Apple TV owners with unique features like cloud DVR, simultaneous streaming, and more. It brings popular programming to the set-top box, including but not limited to ESPN, NFL Network, HBO, Showtime, FX, AMC, and others.
Those who already have a PlayStation Vue account they can link their subscription to Apple TV and start streaming immediately. New subscribers can choose one of the many PlayStation Vue plan options from the service’s website. Subscribers can link their account to multiple devices and simultaneously stream content from PlayStation Vue on up to five devices at once.
