When it was revealed that Emma Watson would be taking on the role of Belle in Disney’s live-action take on Beauty and the Beast, it’s safe to say that many were extremely excited to see her play the character. In fact given that Beauty and the Beast is one of Disney’s more classic movies, people were probably excited at the prospect of a live-action movie anyway.
While it will still be a while before the movie is released, the good news is that in the meantime, the official trailer for the upcoming movie has since been released. Sure, we’ve been treated to various teasers so far, but all of them pretty much pale to the official trailer which introduces us to the various characters that some are probably familiar with from the cartoon.
The movie will see the likes of Dan Stevens who will be taking on the role as the Beast, and Luke Evans who has been cast as Gaston. We will also see Ewan McGregor and Ian McKellen take on the roles of Lumiere and Cogsworth respectively, and Emma Thompson who will be voicing Mrs. Potts.
Disney’s live-action take on Beauty and the Beast is set for a release on the 17th of March, 2017, so while we still have about 4 more months of waiting, hopefully the trailer above will be able to sate your appetite until then.
