So what can we look forward to in the D5600? For starters it comes with a 24.2MP sensor and an EXPEED 4 image processor. It has an expanded ISO sensitivity of up to 6,00 in Night Landscape mode, and there is also the inclusion of SnapBridge which basically allows users to connect to the camera remotely via a smartphone or tablet so that they can review images from the camera or even control it remotely if they don’t have a shutter release cable.
There is also a Time-Lapse Movie function, a feature that has trickled down from Nikon’s higher-end DSLR cameras. We are also looking at a 3.2-inch touchscreen with vari-angle, as well as the ability to shoot video in Full HD and up to 60fps. Unfortunately in terms of pricing and availability, Nikon has yet to announce that just yet.
However we should point out that the Nikon D5600 was announced on Nikon’s European website and not its US website, so presumably for now we can assume that it won’t be arriving stateside just yet, or if it will perhaps it’ll be announced later.
