Sony announced an upgraded variant of the PlayStation 4 about a month ago. Aptly called PlayStation 4 Pro, it’s the most powerful console that Sony has ever built. The console features an upgraded CPU and GPU which enable gaming in spectacular 4K with more stable frame rates as well as bring HDR. Sony has now revealed the list of titles that will be fully optimized for PS4 Pro at launch.
Just to be clear, PS4 Pro plays all games that have been released for PS4 so it’s not like you will have to buy games again. Only titles that have been optimized to take full advantage of the powerful console will provide gamers with the 4K experience.
Sony has said that more than 30 games will be fully optimized for the console at launch. The full list is available on the company’s blog, it includes titles like Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, FIFA 17, Hitman, and more. The company has also said that over 45 titles will be optimized for the PS4 Pro by the end of this year.
The company confirms that more PS4 Pro-ready titles will be out next year and that all first party games released in 2017 and beyond including the likes of Horizon Zero Dawn and Gran Turismo Sport will support the PS4 Pro from the get go.
PlayStation 4 Pro is due to be launched next week, November 10th to be precise.
