If you’ve been meaning to pick up the New Nintendo 3DS you might want to keep waiting until Black Friday. Nintendo has confirmed that it’s going to release two limited edition versions of this console and both of them will be available for just $99.99 on Black Friday 2016, that’s November 25th in case you’re not aware. At $99.99 it may be slightly more expensive than the Nintendo 2DS which costs $79.99, but it does come with features like glasses-free 3D.
There’s nothing fundamentally different about these two new limited edition versions that Nintendo is going to release later this month, the only real difference is that one is black and the other white. The do all of the same things and cost the same.
Nintendo is occupied with bigger and better things to do these days as it’s gearing up to properly unveil its next-generation console called Nintendo Switch. Until that happens, the company will continue to push its existing devices in order to bring in more sales and revenue.
Both limited edition versions also feature a subtle Mushroom Kingdom print which really does look cool. This is a good time to pick up a 3DS if you haven’t already. Nintendo fans might find it hard to pass up on this deal and that’s precisely what the company is counting on.
