Like we said, the HTC 10 evo is the international version of the HTC Bolt which means that under the hood, it will pack the same hardware as the Bolt, just with a different name. In case you missed our review of the HTC Bolt, this means that we can expect the HTC 10 evo to come with a 5.5-inch QHD display, and a Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3GB of RAM under the hood.
It will also come with support for a microSD card slot, a 16MP rear-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.0 that is also capable of 4K video capture. It will also come with HTC BoomSound with a 24-bit DAC, a 3,200mAh battery, IP57 certification which means it is capable of staying submerged underwater up to a depth of 3 feet for 30 minutes.
It is an interesting choice to go with the Snapdragon 810 instead of the 820 which is this year’s flagship chipset, or even the 821 which is a newer version of the 820. Presumably this was done to save costs. Since this is an international version of the HTC Bolt, it should be made available in markets around the world where HTC operates in. Pricing and availability will most likely be subjective depending on where you are from.
