A couple of weeks ago, Blizzard teased that they had a new Hearthstone expansion in the works, and during BlizzCon 2016, the company took the wraps off the “Mean Streets of Gadgetzan” expansion that will be released in the near future. However unlike the previous release, “Mean Streets of Gadgetzan” will focus more on introducing new cards.
The previous expansion, “One Night in Karazhan” is more of an “adventure” expansion in which gamers will be able to battle bosses in different “wings”. So in a way it feels more of an adventure game rather than a competitive one. With this latest release, Blizzard has chosen to focus more on adding new cards to the game to allow gamers to build up their decks.
The expansion will also introduce some new features, such as factions in which different classes belong to different factions, like the Grimy Goons will see Hunters, Paladins, and Warriors be part of it, while the Kabal will have the Mage, Priest, and Warlock, while the Jade Lotus plays home to the Druid, Rogue, and Shaman.
There will also be multi-class cards, which according to Blizzard, “Some neutral minions are only available to members of their faction; for example, a Grimestreet Informant (a member of the Grimy Goons) can only be in Hunter, Paladin, or Warrior decks.” The expansion is set for a release later this year and gamers who are interested can pre-purchase 50 Mean Streets of Gadgetzan card-packs for $50 right now.
