Last month Google announced that customers who are interested in the Daydream View VR headset could essentially place a pre-order for it. It was only expected to begin shipping out in 2-3 weeks. For those looking for a more specific date, Google has announced that the headset will be available in the Google Store and retailers come 10th of November.
According to Google, “With Daydream View and a Daydream-ready phone like Pixel, you’ll be able to kick back in your personal cinema, explore new worlds and get in the game like never before.” The headset can also be purchased from Verizon and Best Buy if you’d rather purchase from them instead of directly from Google.
In case you missed the previous announcement, the headset is expected to be priced at $79, which honestly isn’t too bad of a price. In addition to announcing its availability, Google has also revealed a bunch of content that users can look forward to in the Daydream VR. This includes games, movies, videos, and even access to services like Street View in Google Maps.
At the moment the Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones are the only devices that are compatible with the Daydream VR headset, so that’s something to take into consideration if you are planning on getting it.
