samsung logo 4These days as media gets bigger, it means that default storage on our phones needs to increase as well. Apple did that with the iPhone 7 by offering up to 256GB of storage, and it seems that Samsung could be following suit with a similar offering next year with the upcoming Galaxy S8.

As it stands, the Galaxy S8 offers up to 64GB native storage, but it can be expanded thanks to the use of microSD. However there are some arguments made against the use of microSD cards and if you believe those arguments, then the rumors of native 256GB of storage could be pretty good news.

As for RAM, it seems that we might not expect Samsung to make the Galaxy S8 a phone with 8GB of RAM. Instead the rumors are claiming that we’re probably looking at 6GB of RAM, which we guess is sufficient, although we’re sure there are plenty of users out there who might much prefer 8GB.

Take it with a grain of salt for now, but so far the Galaxy S8 has been shaping up to be quite the powerhouse, at least according to the rumors, but what do you guys make of its rumored specs so far? Is this a phone you’ll be interested to get next year?
