While PC makers have long made AIO desktop systems, the general consensus is that Apple’s iMacs still has the best design. Or at least that’s when Microsoft came along last week and unveiled the Surface Studio, their own take on the AIO desktop system that we have to say definitely gives Apple a run for their money.
Now it looks like Dell could be following suit because in a recent teaser video, a computer system that looks like an AIO desktop was spotted. Dell later confirmed this in a tweet and also stated that they will be making the official reveal at CES 2017, which will be taking place in January 2017 next year.
The specs of the computer are pretty much unknown at this point, but from what we can tell it looks like the bottom part of the computer will feature a set of speakers. Also in the image you can see someone drawing on a huge tablet-like surface, but we’re not sure if that is an optional accessory, or a separate product.
In any case if you are in the market for an AIO, it looks like Microsoft and Dell won’t be disappointing in 2017. That being said, pricing on Dell’s system is unknown, but Microsoft’s Surface Studio won’t come cheap and is expected to start shipping early 2017 for those who failed to pre-order the computer early.
