According to an announcement on the Counter-Strike blog, “Introducing the Glove Case, featuring 17 community-designed weapon finishes. Unlike previous cases, the possible Special Items in the Glove Case are 24 all-new gloves!” We have to say that some of the finishes on the gloves do look pretty good, and we expect that if these skins are tradeable, it will probably mean that gamers will now have more items that they can try to trade or sell.
In addition to the glove skins, Valve also announced Steam Group Lobbies. “Now you have more options when it comes to choosing your teammates. In addition to partying with friends, you can now view and join lobbies created by members of the Steam Groups you belong to. Steam Group Lobbies will be listed in the Steam Groups tab on the Main Menu.”
These features should already be live and part of the update so fire up Steam and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive if you’d like to check it out.
