When it comes to speakers, there are so many options available that it’s really hard to pick one, especially since speakers aren’t really something you change on a regular basis. The good news is that if you do love the idea of changing its look every now and then, the Cork Kickstarter project could be something worth checking out.
Cork is a speaker system that plugs into the opening of any used bottle. This means that you can swap around bottles if you prefer, such as if you find a nicely designed bottle, or if you are changing the way your room looks, you can always swap to a different bottle that matches your aesthetics.
How it works is that the sound from the Cork is being projected into the bottle itself, meaning that depending on the bottle you use, the quality of sound will differ, so obviously a larger bottle would allow the sound to reverb more, while a shorter/smaller bottle might offer up a tighter sound.
The Cork speaker is also wireless and connects via Bluetooth, meaning that you won’t need to look for a power source, making it ideal for travel, especially to picnics or barbeques where bottles are probably aplenty. If you’d like to find out more, you can check out its introduction video above, or head on over to its Kickstarter page where you can also pledge your support.
