Coca-Cola knows that no matter how much they advertise, at the end of the day word of mouth is probably one of the best forms of marketing that they can hope for, and what better way to spread the word other than through social media? This is why an ad agency from Israel has created the Coca-Cola Selfie Bottle.
As you can see in the image above, the bottle is pretty standard as far as Coca-Cola bottles are concerned. However attached to the base of the bottle is a camera that will snap selfies for you, and the best part is that it is automated meaning that as soon as you tilt the bottle 70-degrees, it will basically snap a photo of yourself enjoying a bottle of Coke.
Users will then be able to share that photo of themselves on social media, although why anyone would want to do that is beyond us. Maybe they’re at an exotic location, or they want to show their friends that they are at a beach, but whatever the case is it’s free marketing for Coke, and not to mention it also allows users to share selfies, something that seems to be trending in the past couple of years.
We’re not sure if there are plans to launch this accessory worldwide, but there’s a good chance that it’ll only be used for this ad campaign, but it’s still a pretty good idea.
