As far as The Legend of Zelda titles are concerned, the upcoming “Breath of the Wild” is probably one of the prettiest titles we’ve seen to date. The fact that it will feature more of an open concept is also an interesting take on a formula that has worked for Nintendo for years, but exactly how it plays still remains to be seen.
The good news is that if you wanted to check out more Breath of the Wild footage, you’ll be pleased to learn that exclusive footage of the game will be shown off at The Game Awards which is kicking off this Thursday. What exactly will we be seeing is unclear, but if you are excited for its release and want more footage, this is a good opportunity to check it out.
In the meantime a release date for the game has yet to be confirmed. Previously it was thought that it could be launched alongside the Nintendo Switch in March, but it was apparently “delayed” due to issues regarding the localization of the game which is taking longer than expected due to the size of it.
We had heard that June 2017 could be a possible release date, thanks to a listing found on Target’s website, but that cannot be confirmed at the moment. In any case for more information, you’ll want to tune in this Thursday for the details.
