That being said, so far the update is pretty much available on Nexus handsets as well as Google’s Pixel devices. However given that the Pixel devices are seeing some shipping delays due to overwhelming demand, we guess it is understandable. As for non-Nexus and non-Pixel handsets, it also seems that the LG V20 is pretty much the only phone to offer Android 7.0 out of the box.
However even then the phone’s availability was limited to carriers last month, with the unlocked version expected to be released this month, so we guess that probably contributed to the low numbers as well. Hopefully in the coming months as more OEMs make the update available for their phones, like Samsung is planning for the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge, and with the launch of devices like the HTC Bolt, we’ll be able to see Nougat’s numbers increase.
