According to the analysts, they claim that 2017’s iPhones will bring about larger iPhone screen sizes. The iPhone 8 will sport a 5-inch display, while the Plus model will go up to 5.8-inches. Now you might be thinking that this makes it extremely unwieldy, but apparently that will be solved by making them “edgeless”, thus allowing them to create a larger phone that won’t feel too big.
This is actually the first time we’re hearing rumors about Apple changing up the display size, but it is not the first time we have heard the rumors about an edgeless display. If anything this report seems to “confirm” it, or at least lend some credibility to the previous claims. An earlier report also claimed that the new iPhones will support wireless charging.
This is a feature that has been around for a while now, so we guess seeing Apple finally adopt it isn’t really that much of a stretch, but until we hear the news officially, it’s best taken with a grain of salt for now.
