Dubbed the Wyatt Meter, this is a mechanical keyboard that Xiaomi has launched on its own Mijia crowdfunding platform. The keyboard itself is pretty standard and comes with 87 keys, meaning that Xiaomi has decided to do away with the separate number pad. It features an aluminum body and has keys made from polycarbonate and ABS resin.
As for its switches, Xiaomi has gone with TTC Red Switches which are apparently good for up to 50 million hits, meaning that the keyboard should last you a fairly long time, assuming that you were to treat it properly. There are also built-in LEDs so that you can use it at night and it will provide some illumination.
There is also the option to configure the brightness and also the hue which users can swap between white or orange-white. Unfortunately it seems unlikely that Xiaomi will bring the Wyatt Meter keyboard stateside, and with it priced at 299 yuan, it is certainly one of the more affordable mechanical keyboards out there today.
