For artists and graphics professionals, Wacom is probably a brand that many of you guys have either grown up with, or have heard about. For those who haven’t, the company is known for their graphic tablets which helps with the creation of digital art. Now if you are looking forward to a more robust solution from Wacom, you’re in luck.
The company has recently taken the wraps off their latest device in the form of the MobileStudio Pro. Unlike Wacom’s other offerings which are either graphic tablets or slightly more advanced models like the Cintiq, the MobileStudio Pro is actually a full-fledged tablet that runs on Windows 10.
This means that if there are specific drawing/illustration apps that you use on your computer, you should have no issues loading it up on the MobileStudio Pro. The tablet comes in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch sizes and will feature NVIDIA’s Quadro graphics. There are a variety of configurations that users can choose from, but the cheapest model starts at $1,499 so obviously these devices are aimed at the professional.
The tablet will come with Wacom’s Pro Pen 2. This is the latest input tool from the company which boasts 4x higher accuracy and pressure sensitivity. If the Wacom MobileStudio Pro sounds like something you might be interested in, the tablets will be available for purchase late November.
