LG’s latest flagship smartphone can only be purchased from mobile carriers in the United States at this point in time, but the company is going to sell the unlocked and off-contract version at some point in the future. Previously, it wasn’t confirmed when LG is going to do this but it now appears that the unlocked LG V20 is going to be released in the United States early next month.
There are only a couple of major retailers that are taking pre-orders for the unlocked flavor of the LG V20, B&H and Newegg. B&H’s listing mentions that the unlocked LG V20 is going to be released in the first week of November while Newegg’s listing has the November 11th release date.
Both retailers are charging $799.99 for an unlocked LG V20. Those who pre-order the V20 from Newegg or B&G will also receive a G Pad 7.0 tablet from LG for absolutely no additional charge as well as a pair of H3 By B&O Play earphones.
Those who just can’t wait to pick one up can choose to get it from Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile or U.S. Cellular. All of these carriers are selling LG’s new flagship smartphone in the United States already.
