Last week, T-Mobile inadvertently revealed that it would soon add a Windows 10 VR headset to its lineup. Someone at Magenta published the product page for the Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 VR ahead of schedule and that’s how we found out that this handset is in the pipeline. The latest on this development suggests that T-Mobile’s Windows 10 VR headset might be launched on November 10th.
According to the report, T-Mobile is going to launch the Idol 4S with Windows 10 on November 10th. The handset is said to cost $469.99 at full retail price. Bear in mind that none of this has been officially confirmed by Magenta yet so take it with a grain of salt for now.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 is expected to feature a 5.5 inch full HD AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage with microSD card support, 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge support as well as a 21 megapixel rear camera.
The Android-powered version of this device which was released earlier this year came bundled with a low-cost VR headset and it’s expected that the Windows 10 Mobile version is going to come with the headset as well.
T-Mobile hasn’t confirmed anything about the Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 just yet so we’ll have to wait and see when it finally breaks its silence.
