However it seems unlikely that those two will be the end of it, which is why according to reports, Samsung has already begun to anticipate future lawsuits and have since hired the services of two major law firms: Gwangjang and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan as legal advisors for any potential cases that might pop up in the future.
Note that these two law firms have worked with Samsung in the past regarding their patent disputes with Apple, and considering how long and drawn out those legal battles have been, and how in some instances Samsung has managed to be victorious over Apple, it looks like the company could be in good hands.
Of course there is no denying what happened given the official recalls from the CPSC and the discontinuation of the phone, so we guess it’s really a matter of how much Samsung is able to reduce the settlement by, or maybe even wiggle out of some class-action lawsuits entirely if possible.
