Sony today confirmed the lineup of free games that will be provided to PlayStation Plus members next month. Both Microsoft and Sony run similar programs for their consoles and as an added incentive provide a handful of games for free to members. Microsoft already confirmed its Xbox Live Games with Gold lineup yesterday and today Sony has followed up with its very own list of titles for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is the first title in the lineup for November 2016. This spiritual successor to Dear Esther is set in a small English town that’s deserted and players have to search for clues to find out what happened to all of the inhabitants.
The Deadly Tower of Monsters is next on the list. Sony describes the experience of playing the game as playing through your favorite sci-fi B-movie. This game is a cult classic in its own right so it’s certainly an interesting addition to the lineup.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and The Deadly Tower of Monsters are both free for PlayStation 4. Dirt 3 and Costume Quest 2 are free for PlayStation 3. PS Vita owners get Letter Quest Remastered and Pumped BMX+, the former is a cross buy title with PS4 while the latter is cross buy with both PS4 and PS3.
