Nokia will soon be making its return to the smartphone market. While the first handset is expected to be a mid-range affair, the Nokia P1 is expected to be a high-end handset available in two variants. The latest rumor suggests that the Nokia P1 flagship is going to feature 2K display as well as a premium metal body.
The rumor out of China claims that the Nokia P1 is currently at engineering prototype stage. It’s claimed that the P1’s two variants will come with 5.2 inch and 5.5 inch AMOLED displays touting 2K resolution. It’s also said that both variants will feature premium metal bodies.
Nokia handsets have always been known for their great cameras and that legacy is expected to continue with the P1. Rumor has it that the flagships will feature graphene camera sensors which will allow for significantly better low-light performance.
No further information is available right now regarding the upcoming flagship Nokia Android smartphones. The rumor does suggest that these handsets will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box when they arrive.
It’s unclear right now when these devices are going to be released and how much they are going to cost, but I’m sure we’ll hear whispers about that in the coming months.
