The Nixon Mission smartwatch was announced earlier this year and was finally available for pre-order last month. However if you missed the boat on the pre-order window, the good news is that it looks like the watch is now available for purchase and customers will be able to purchase the device directly through Nixon’s website or Amazon.
In case you missed the announcement of the Nixon Mission and this is the first time you’re hearing about it, here’s a rundown of the device. The Mission is an Android Wear-powered smartwatch and it is also designed to be a more rugged wearable compared to some of the other Android Wear devices we’ve seen out there.
It will feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 2100 process, a 400mAh battery that is said to last wearers a little over a day, and a host of sensors such as GPS and other trackers/sensors that one might expect from a wearable. It should be noted that with several major Android Wear manufacturers not releasing new devices this year, the Nixon Mission is one of the few Android Wear smartwatches that has been released in 2016.
The watch is priced starting at $400 so if you’d like to get your hands on it, hit up Nixon’s website where you can customize the colors of the watch, or Amazon for the details.
